The Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP) is the only faculty in Portugal entirely dedicated to Nutritional Sciences. Recognised as a national benchmark in the training of nutritionists, FCNAUP is part of the prestigious University of Porto, offering an academic experience of excellence. This institution is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary, a milestone that reflects its long and consolidated trajectory in promoting health and well-being through nutrition.
FCNAUP's educational offerings cover all cycles of higher education, from the Bachelor's degree (Licenciatura) in Nutritional Sciences, which prepares future professionals with a comprehensive curriculum and essential curricular internships, to the Master's and Doctoral (PhD) degrees that deepen knowledge and drive advanced research in the field. In addition to traditional cycles, the faculty provides Lifelong Learning programmes and Distance Learning resources through the AcademiaUP Portal, demonstrating a commitment to continuous education and flexibility.
